TV in a recess: check ventilation and installation clearance
A screen can fit across a recess and still be unsuitable for that location. Installation requires room around the cabinet, the ventilation specified by its manufacturer and a practical way to fit, service and remove the television without damaging the finish.

Compare the recess with the cabinet, not the diagonal
Measure the clear width, height and depth at several points. Finishes and projecting edges may reduce the usable space. Find the dimensions without the stand for the exact television model and note rear projections. A paper outline helps with composition but does not represent the depth of the cabinet, mount or connections. Do not buy a bracket simply because the screen-shaped rectangle fits between the side walls; confirm the complete installation envelope first.
Take ventilation requirements from the model instructions
Send the installation section of the television manual to the installer. The recess must not obstruct the intended airflow. Avoid applying one internet clearance figure to every television: check the instructions for this particular screen and placement. Where the recess cannot accommodate those requirements, revise the layout before mounting. Include decorative trims and equipment boxes in the assessment. An open-looking front alone does not establish that ventilation inside the recess is suitable.
Allow for fitting and removal movements
Consider how the screen engages with its mount and how the retaining mechanism is reached, rather than only its final position. Different brackets use different movements. A recess side wall may obstruct a hand, tool or outward movement. Plan where the television can be placed during servicing. Installation must not depend on bending the cabinet or removing unrelated decorative components without agreement. Check the actual bracket instructions and the necessary movement before holes are drilled.
Discuss TV mounting in Herzliya with Dima
Send a wide wall view, a side photograph, all three recess measurements and the television model. Include the bracket product number, the ventilation instructions and known details of the wall behind the recess. List any boxes that will share the space. Agree mounting, existing-cable connections and finish alterations separately before the visit. Moving a socket or concealed wiring is not automatically part of TV hanging and requires an appropriately qualified specialist.

Common questions
Is a width match sufficient?
No. Check ventilation requirements, depth and the movements needed to fit and remove the screen as well.
Can a decorative surround fill the remaining gap?
Only after checking the instructions and service access. It must not obstruct the intended ventilation.
Will an articulating bracket always solve a recess problem?
No. Its mechanism also needs room to move. Select a mount using the actual dimensions and product instructions.
