Water under the sink: what to show before replacing the tap
Water in the sink cabinet may come from supply hoses, the trap or another connection rather than the tap.
What to check
Describe whether it appears continuously, when water runs or during draining. These observations help but do not replace inspection. A new tap cannot repair a defective waste connection.
Preparation and next steps
If leaking continues, stop use and close an accessible supply valve only if safe and without force. Send a wide under-sink view and wet areas, clear the cupboard and leave connections intact. A bucket is not a permanent solution.
