Bought a used wardrobe: what to check before reassembly
A used wardrobe arrives dismantled with mixed screws and no instructions. Its condition affects reassembly.
What to check
Damaged fixing holes, missing connectors and confused panels can increase the work. Old screw marks do not always establish the original design; some joints deteriorate after repeated dismantling.
Preparation and next steps
Send panel labels, hardware photos, damaged joints, the model and the seller's assembled photo. Discuss completeness before booking. Parts sourcing and panel repair are separate tasks. A similar screw does not necessarily replace a proprietary connector.
